As this is a development list, wouldn't it make sense that the bug or
other reports would specifically be about the development version, Edgy
in this case? And, wouldn't reporting about some problem be considered
part of the overall development and release of said version?
I really do think that it is beneficial for people to report on issues
with the latest alpha or beta. Many people read this list and could try
these things and report. Few people of general interest read the bug
database.
Just my $0.02.
