+1.  When I install a modern, full-featured Linux distro, one of my 
expectations is to be able to enjoy the comfort of vim as I have come to know 
it.  I don't even think the move to vim-tiny is worth the saved space, but 
since it's been decided, let's make it as comfortable as possible for those 
who (rightly) expect to find vim on their systems.
