I actually like the current direction the theme is taking.
The new login and logoff sounds are more subdued than before
and seem more professional.

As for the overall feel I get from the theme, I think its
warm and inviting.  I like it much better than the
cartoonyness of Windows and the industrial blues and silvers
of Mac OSX.  It also goes along with the over all theme of
Ubuntu quite well.  The earthy and tribal look makes it more
comfortable and relaxes me.

The Ubuntu theme is different than other OSes, and I think
its different in a good way.
