CD image size recovery suggestions

If the expansion to PC desktops is the goal of Ubuntu, please, does 
anybody expect the Vim-on-CD helping with that goal?

If the answer is positive, then don't touch it.
If anything else could help more with that goal instead of Vim, then let 
it make into CD and let the Vim be installed from net.

Take into account the target audience and answer the question.

I think it is that simple.
