I will try to do that, and I have some other ideas growing regarding laptops
and multi network profiles that is not easy to manage today. Maybe for edgy and
the new Upstart init there will be possible to add profiles based on user or
network patterns (ie IP range or DHCP options) to trigger start and stop of
network deamons such as NIS and NFS. I will dig in and try to come up with a
laptop profile feature spec
Laptops are becoming cheap and popular and not only used by business people
anymore.
