On a related subtopic I'd like to add that Firefox could be improved supporting
laptops for the same reason because in an environment with a touchpad one might
try to use arrow keys and tab for navigation in pages and loosing data
accidently by pressing whatever keys and also dipping neandertahl fingers on
the touchpad many times. I have two suggestions for laptop improvents not
involving disable things:

1) Be able to mark <TEXTAREA>s in forms, for certain URL:s only, as bringing up
a text editor of choice

This would help people using webmail interfaces not only from above mentioned
problems but also from timeouts and autologout from the webmail portal. Could
be implemented as a right click + check option

2) Be able to recognize a laptop and change behaviour of the PgUp and PgDn keys
so they don't stick in the first input field of a form.

How often is there a page of text in the first textfield of a form BTW? Very
annoying when using a laptop with key navigation.

So rather be context sensetive on multiple levels than removing behaviours that
is well known to some people and hated by others

IMHO
