Sorry, I realized too late that I should have explained that.

By default in Ubuntu, gnome-screensaver uses the screensavers from the 
xscreensaver-data and xscreensaver-gl binary packages. (You can see 
this in Synaptic, package gnome-screensaver, "Properties", 
"Dependencies".)

The xscreensaver-data binary package is generated from the xscreensaver 
source package, and Launchpad categorizes bugs by source package. (You 
can see this in Launchpad, <https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu>, 
search for "xscreensaver-data".)
