Trying to find bugs in linux-source-2.6.17

Can you please file this bug in Launchpad? BTW, if Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
sorts it out, it's likely not a kernel problem. Instead, try
Ctrl-Alt-F2, login in and run 'top' to see what's using your CPU.
