Madwifi-ng tools missing

There might be some bitterness and even reproach in my message,
because this has already cost me quite a few hours, but no sarcasm (I
am trying to quit :-).

Thanks a lot for looking into this, and if I can be of help let me
know: I suppose the same problems (and solutions) will apply for
Feisty.

Also, I had a further look a the Madwifi site, and it seems that the
wlanconfig tool is _only_ required for changing the mode, so hopefully
they'll get iwconfig to do it by the time Festy is out? One can have
hopes! Maybe if we ask them nicely...
