CONFIG_M486=y in linux-image-2.6.15-23-386_2.6.15-23.39_i386.deb ?

The kernel in Dapper now is named as:
linux-image-2.6.15-23-386_2.6.15-23.39_i386.deb
>From the name, it's for i386 arch.
However, when cheking its config file /boot/config-2.6.15-23-386,
actually it's
----------------
# CONFIG_M386 is not set
CONFIG_M486=y
----------------

I noticed that in Debian Etch, the kernel is named as
linux-image-2.6.16-1-486_2.6.16-12_i386.deb
There is a "486", not "386", to show this is for i486 arch.

Is that possible we can see the similar naming, i.e.
linux-image-2.6.15-23-486_2.6.15-23.39_i386.deb, instead of
"linux-image-2.6.15-23-386_2.6.15-23.39_i386.deb" in Dapper ?
