Now seriously. They are necessary for "average joe user" because they
are very common. Polish Ubuntu forum is full of posts how to set this up.
People who use Internet connection for serious purposes (like
developers) do not use this service as it is really crappy - public,
dynamic IP address, which changes every few hours (have you seen such
stupid setup?!?). Moreover addresses (whole address blocks) from this
service are blocked on many IRC servers, wikis, etc. as there are many
vandals and server administrators cannot block only one IP (as it is
often changed).
