Fleshing out in the etc-in-svn spec

Hello all,

I've been looking at the etc-in-svn spec in launchpad (although I've
rather taken in the etc-in-bzr approach) and I'd be very interested in
hearing other people's opinions about the best way to do this.

So far I have drafted some stuff our on the wiki at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/VersionControlledEtc and there is a bzr archive
of some code for people to try out at
http://www.cs1ajb.staff.shef.ac.uk/bzr/etc-bzr/. It's small and
pathetic, but it does at least seem useful!
