Startup services (Re: ubuntu-laptop useful?)

Ubuntu is made for "all human beings" and mostly of them don't know how to
start CUPS themslves.
So, it will be a problem if Ubuntu uses same boot strategy as Gentoo ... it
can be a solution for advanced users but not for starters :)
