| erm... weeell... if you were crazy you _could_ do a direct NFS mount over
| the internet, it is just one large tcp/ip network after all. Or you could
| use one of those ssh fs to obtain a secure channel.

If you're a little less crazy, you use FUSE and a webdav module or
something along those lines.  I have been toying with the idea, but
haven't had the time to implement it yet.
