erm... weeell... if you were crazy you _could_ do a direct NFS mount over
the internet, it is just one large tcp/ip network after all. Or you could
use one of those ssh fs to obtain a secure channel.
A far more realistic way to do it is just set up a secure VPN and mount
using the network FS of your choice.
