That would be me. And I was talking about 19" 4:3 CRTs not TFTs. Just
for the record: I did measure my monitor... ;)

Now drop this, this discussion could hardly contribute anything to
Ubuntu development. The thread this came up in was about not forgetting
to check the aspect ratio while automatically selecting a suitable
resolution.
