This should probably be filed (and searched, of course) upstream:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/simple-bug-guide.cgi.  In this case, file a
feature request on gnome-applets, multiload component.

Even if this shouldn't have gone upstream, you should report something
like this on launchpad.net, in an analogous manner.  In fact, you
still could, but I'm fairly sure it'd end up upstream anyway. :)
