Dropping pre-i686 from the archive

    I'm really happy to see this change.  686 optimized packages are 
much faster than 386.  Take a look at Arch Linux.  Arch Linux optimizes 
everything with just 686, and this is a noticeable performance boost 
from 386 distros like Debian/Ubuntu to Arch.
    I have a lot of old computers around... And I believe the oldest 
processers I have around are Pentium IIs.  I have a Pentium I running in 
a old laptop, but I only use that for an X thin client, anyway.  By the 
way, is there a simple way to use Ubuntu as a thin-X11-client setup?
