Laptop support is mostly done by me. I'm a volunteer - I'm not paid to 
provide laptop support in Ubuntu. So, no, I'm afraid that it's not 
possible to get me to work on input methods instead. I know nothing 
about them, and I speak no languages with non-Latin alphabets.
