valgrind, Bug 2958

Hello,
I have reported  a bug a few months ago, it is a trivial bug and really 
"job stopper".
Anyone who uses the package should be able to notice however the bug is 
(still) unconfirmed:

Can someone look at it to make sure it will be resolved (someday) ?

If I am filling the bug on the wrong place, please let me know, I have 
submitted it on a few places (on bugzilla an somewhere else on the 
launchpad) without much luck.
