You can always package stuff and contribute it to Universe, and eventually
become a MOTU...
You may look at candidates for packaging here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Packages/Candidates?action=show&redirect=UniverseCandidates
or choose some apps you use, and are not located in repos to package...
Also get in touch with MOTU's at #motu irc.freenode.net
For testing...You can always run Dapper daily builds (or flight and then
update) and report bugs, etc.
I could just go read the wiki on how to help, but maybe someone needs help
