tip of the day?

Well, I am certainly not new to Linux. I am not much of a developer,
but I certainly would have no need for a tip of the day thingy.

But, I think it is a fabulous idea for Ubuntu, so long as the tips are
useful to new users, the thing is easy to de-activate and re-activate,
and it doesn't have a frackin' paper clip or puppy dog mascot... A
little gnome guy would be ok, though. ;)

I would be willing to contribute some tips as well if this were to
happen and help was needed.
