Changing the nature of bug reports

I think making bug reporting easier is a terrific idea.
Especially if we could do it in a way in which
we could just diff the backtrace to find duplicates and/or confirm previously reported bugs.
In my opinion, between doing that and perhaps incorporating some 
sort of filter for garbage (such that we wouldn't even see the garbage in the first
place) should take care of the signal-to-noise ratio, even
with 30-40 million users, but I could be wrong.
