Some french users reports that ubiquity works fine on a computer with
256Mo of RAM but they had a better processor, around 800Mhz.
Some others complain that this was not working with their computers but
they had a slower processor, around 450Mhz (additionnally I don't think
ubuntu itself would be usable on this kind of computers, and users
should choose xubuntu so that should not be a problem)
So finally I think there is some other things to look for the
requirements, ie processor.
