Mono required by ubuntu-desktop

Hello,
several people on the Brazilian/Portuguese forum have reported that the 
Dapper Desktop CD (x86) was unusable (extremely slow) on their 256 MB 
systems.
If there is a bug it seems to be happening very often. I guess it does 
not get much attention because usually the users just move along to the 
alternate CD install method.
