Testing K/Ubuntu on virtual machines

Having just downloaded VMware Server, and so being able to create my own 
  virtual machines, I have a few questions relating to testing edgy and 
reporting bugs:

1: Is it acceptable to test edgy on vmware?

2: I presume bugs relating to hardware (such as detection) will really 
be software problems in vmware. Should they be reported in launchpad?

3: Are vm images going to be made available officially through 
Ubuntu.com? There's an image of Breezy on the mirrors, but not of 
dapper, or knot 1.

4: Is it okay for me to distributed any images of knot n I make? Is it 
desirable? Can Ubuntu.com provide bandwidth for this?
