Yes, how Kubuntu handles this for say the application "Amarok" is we
have our artwork and themes included or as a dep of
kubuntu-default-settings , this would be the give desired affect of now
having "kubuntu" colors and theme for amarok installed if it is say
installed in ubuntu from <insert fav package manager here>.

afaik there is a ubuntu-default-setings package similar to the kubuntu
one and this would / could provide the desired effect. I dont know about
{ed,x} personaly but I would assume they have similar packages to handle
such things

And as far as diffrent themes yes none of the other derivitives use
human afaik ( Kubuntu dosent for sure and from the scren shots of the
others it dosent seem they do either )

forgive my ignorance here but if ubuntu-default-settings depended on the
ff themes package would it not change what you are currently changing
now to make the theme work by default when installed as a firefox
dependancy ?
