When I hibernate, breezy happily hibernates.. but coming back up is a
problem:
The pages % count reads in all the pages, then the screen redisplays,
showing a line of ===========,
something about ACPI: IDE device has no driver, or no interrupt (I don't
precisely recall), and two more PCI related lines.
Then it stops. :[. This is a Dell Latitude X1 (aka Samsung Q30). Suspend
to ram works fine.
I've checked the following bugs:
https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com//show_bug.cgi?id=6108 - I don't use madwifi
https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com//show_bug.cgi?id=7721 - very similar
oh bah, and all the others whos tabs I just closed without noting them
down, that I found trawling through bugzilla/linux.
Found a fun bug with the video startup stuff (usplash?)..
* Power on
* Let the graphical boot sequence get going
* close the lid
* open the lid
The screen at this point is black, and stays black until the laptop is
either powered down (via hitting the power button and letting acpi do
its thing), or by a suspend resume cycle (via the acpi hotkey).
