Hoary upgrade to Breezy breaks X on Mac

Hey,

iBook G4, 12 inch
I did a fresh install of Hoary this morning, then upgraded to Breezy a
an hour or two ago. I've got to say, whoever did that boot splash
thing -- it looks fabulous.

After the Breezy upgrade, I rebooted to check out how everything
worked, and X won't start. GDM either freezes, or dies, or ends up in
an ncurses debconf window saying X is probably misconfigured and do I
want to see the output. With this list one, I can't type anything, so
I don't know if it's a keyboard issue from trying to launch X, or if
it freezes.

When GDM dies each time, if I can log in and stop it, then try to
start X manually, it crashes nicely with this output:

(**) Configured Mouse: Buttons: 5

Could not init font path element unix/:7100, removing from list!

Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed';
the X server's font paths might be misconfigured, remote font server(s)
may be unreachable, and/or local fonts may not be installed or are not
configured correctly.

People inexperienced with the X Window System should have either the
"x-window-system" or "x-window-system-core" packages installed.
# apt-get install x-window-system-core
# apt-get install x-window-system

Other useful commands to run include:
$ dpkg --status xserver-common
$ dpkg --status xfonts-base
$ zmore /usr/share/doc/xorg-common/FAQ.gz

Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support
         at http://wiki.X.Org
 for help.
Please also check the log file at "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" for additional
information.

************

It also seems that only tty1 and tty2 exist. All others give black
screens with a pulsing white underline cursor in the top left, and
won't allow me to leave them.

***********

Holding down the power button doesn't cause the computer to shut down,
it just sleeps then wakes up again and again.

*********

Should I file a bug report on any of these, or does anyone want more info?
