Hoary-to-Breezy report

I dist-upgraded last night from Hoary to Breezy and noticed the following:
* The dist-upgraded got stuck at one point when trying to install
python-wxversion. It wouldn't install
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/wxversion.py because it was
overwriting the same file for wxpython 2.5.3. I couldn't apt-get
remove the previous version either and finally had to dpkg
--force-overwrite the new version of python-wxversion and the upgrade
continued. I haven't put a bugzilla in on this yet because I had a
very similar problem when dist-upgrading to Hoary (had to apt-get
remove wxpython to unstick it), so I suspect this is something screwy
with my own setup.
* X didn't start for me the first time. Did a dpkg-reconfigure on it,
accepted all the defaults, and it worked. Not sure what's going on
there, but it's working now, so I didn't put a bugzilla in on it.
* I don't have usplash, or rather, I do (it's installed), but I see
the normal boot messages rather than any kind of splash screen. Will
dist-upgraders get this or do they have to do something else first? Is
it a bug, and if so, what do you need from me to help track this down?
* Applications that use QT 3.x are unusable, with a black background
and foreground that mostly obscures all of the widgets. I only use one
QT3 app (Skype), but I also installed qtconfig and it has the same
problem. Here's a screenshot:

I've put a bugzilla in on this. What do you need from me that would
help track this one down?
