Yes, I already read it... but nothing that useful :/
Debian/Ubuntu are using slang2, every distribution with mc-utf8 support
uses slang1 with hacked in utf8 support.

I'm currently working on porting that patch to slang2... and I hope I
have it finished next wednesday
