[Breezy]strange behaviour in usb-storage mount

Hi everybody,

Breezy mounts my Maxtor 80G usb-disk fine (it works), but device name on
the Desktop is very strange:

 < endl;
}

Yes, it's not a joke, this is what I read under the disk icon on the
desktop.

follow a couple of logs:

fbiondi at strady:/media$ ls
cdrom  cdrom0  < endl;??}


fbiondi at strady:~$cat /etc/mtab
\012} vfat
rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,quiet,shortname=winnt,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=077,iocharset=utf8 0 0

With my pen-drive (256M) is all ok, works and mounts fine
(/media/usbdisk).

IMHO it smells like c++ code, maybe an unlucky diff or something like
that..

any ideas?
