Some of the problems I was having had to do with mixing Debian unstale
and Ubuntu repositories.  After clearing that up and reinstalling all of
the libraries and compiler, I no longer need that libpangohack change to
make 'realplay' run.  It still cannot load pixmaps, but it does play a
song.
