This is done now for new installs.  If you want it for your current
install, edit /etc/mkinitrd/mkinitrd.conf and set RESUME= at the bottom.
Then reinstall your kernel and it will be picked up.  (or just wait
until the next kernel upgrade)

That reminds me that I need to make sure this is in the release notes.
