I strongly disagree. You could apply the same logic to Firefox or
OpenOffice (which uses the Windows button ordering). I've never heard
anybody complain that they were tricked by this.

Likewise, given that when something crashes a message box with "Wine" as
the title pops up, I doubt anybody will be blaming Ubuntu or GNOME for its
faults. 

IMHO we should strive for the best desktop integration possible.
