No, you are not. I am really happy with polypaudio. Everything works 
great! Even quake2 (with oss audio), quake3, wine, all other games, 
totem-xine, flash... everything worked great for me with polypaudio. 
With esd I had to kill it every time before I could play games that make 
use of oss directly. With polypaudio not. I hope that after the drop of 
polypaudio everything just works like it is now for me.
