DVD images

Hello all,
I wanted to ask the developers if there are any plans to create Ubuntu
DVD images.
These images could contain all (well, most actually :-) of the Ubuntu
packages. Personally it would be a great improvement for myself and
many of my friends.
It could also cut back on the download cost for the user, since
language packs and extra packages could just be installed from the
DVD. Off course, there would be extra bandwidth for the servers.

So, are there any plans to create a DVD install image?
