I set this as an item for the next MOTU meeting
( http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/MOTUMeeting ), but you're right, maybe
we should talk about this altogether.

Absolutely. I took this to debian-devel
( http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/06/msg00264.html ) already
and I encourage everybody to participate in this discussion, but maybe
we should come to an agreement first.

I absolutely don't think they were referring to MOTUs only, but anyhow,
some things:

      * filing an ITP can be part of out MOTUNewPackagesPolicy and I'm
        absolutely all for it
      * do we have teams already? The problem I see, is that our
maintainer models momentarily collide a bit.
      * RSS Launchpad would incredibly rock! But it's not there yet.

Thank you for taking this here.

Have a nice day,
 Daniel
