Whatever.  People actually judge a linux distribution by the
screenshots.  Perhaps it would save bandwith to post some so that
people will not download the entire iso just to find that it does not
meet their expectations.  



This project is young, and I would be surprised to find screenshots of
it on google.  If you know of some, please post them.



As for browsers, out of all the Gecko-based browsers, Firefox is the
slowest to render pages on older (pentium one) hardware.  The
differences are not huge, but noticeable.   As for rendering windows
(like Preferences, or just fireing up the application) nothing beats
the old gtk1.2 interfaces for pre mozilla-1.5 browsers (skipstone,
galeon, and phoenix)  Too bad they can no longer compile under gtk1.2.



Also, the install option on the cd restores a bakup, correct?  It may
take people by surprise when they are expecting the Debian/Ubuntu
installer.  Had I booted it on my other computer, I would have wiped
away my vacation photos!  Perhaps a warning on the ubuntulite page!
