It would be a problem if language-support-XX still depended (indirectly, but
still a mandatory dependency) on Openoffice, Mozilla, Firefox and
Thunderbird.
Looking at the Italian and French language-support packages, the mandatory,
without alternatives dependencies end up to be:
l-s-XX --> openoffice.org-help-XX --> openoffice.org
l-s-XX --> openoffice.org-hyphenation-XX --> openoffice.org
l-s-XX --> mozilla-locale-XX --> mozilla-browser
l-s-XX --> mozilla-firefox-locale-XX --> (*) mozilla-firefox
l-s-XX --> mozilla-thunderbird-locale-XX --> (*) mozilla-thunderbird
(*) or'ed with language-support-fr in the French version
