In that case, I don't understand what you were originally asking.
It is necessary that we ensure that python-minimal is functional without
full python. The obvious way to do this would be to use the test suite
provided by upstream, and run the tests for the modules in python-minimal.
However, to ensure that there are not dependencies on modules outside of
python-minimal, it would be necessary to run the test suite with only the
python-minimal modules (no?).
