There are some individual archives, but for the most part we do our work in
the archive (archive.ubuntu.com).  There will be more widespread use of arch
in the future, yes, to make it easier to collaborate with the community on
package development.

debian-installer, which is what you and Colin were discussing, is in
Subversion upstream, and much of his work on it can be found in that
repository.
