If I delete the broken link and re-install Evolution via SPM the broken
link comes back.

I just mentioned it in passing. I cannot remember if the broken link
existed in my last install; it wa only after I completely rebuild
Ubuntu from scratch that I found that Evolution no longer worked and
the Bugzilla now applied to me.
