Ubuntu and KDE

Gnome fits the "concise" feel of Ubuntu much better than the mess (often
impressive, but still a mess) that is KDE.
How many versions of linux are KDE based? Hmmm: Mandrake, Suse,
Xandros, Mepis...
Why don't you try one of those instead? It's all about choice.
Ubuntu is not limiting your choice--you are. KDE is available in full
through Synaptic, though I think you're better off using a KDE centric
distro.
I used to hear this when using Fedora--whining about better KDE
support. How stupid!
I used to use KDE before Gnome matured to where it is today--and I was
quite happy using the nice Suse implementation. ;)
