symantic configuring xorg multiple times

Hi,

During an upgrade this evening I was prompted 3 times by symantic to
configure xorg.  I believe it was for the packages xorg-common,
x-window-system-core and xserver-common.  I really only noted the last
one and I'm guessed at the others looking back at the console log.  I
was just picking up the hoary packages that were released over the
past few days.

Isn't 3 times excessive?  I would think once per upgrade session would
be enough, or since it was a minor upgrade, there should be no changes
to my configuration.

When I was prompted the second time, my first thought was that
Symantic was in some kind of configuration loop.  I'm sure new users
could be confused by something like this.
