RFC: Automatic trouble reporting

I'll try to raise the issue again so that it at least gets discussed 
for the next release.  Considering *nobody* has this currently, I'm not 
too worried about which release such a beast would go into, just as 
long as I know that some people other than me are thinking about it.

Martin Pitt has done some work on automatic detection of program 
crashes in
general.  This wasn't a goal for the release, though, and feature 
freeze is
coming up shortly.  I suggest proposing this for the following release 
when
the time comes (we'll announce a kickoff meeting to discuss release 
goals).
