I want to add exactly two files to the Ubuntu LiveCD and roll my own for
a test. Are there any remastering guides up?

I've installed libsafe (/lib/libsafe.so.2) from universe here and added
it to /etc/ld.so.preload, and everything seems to run. I'm pondering a
quick tweak to a livecd to add a "libsafe" boot option which would add a
flag ("libsafe") to the kernel command line visible in /proc/cmdline
which would cause /etc/ld.so.preload to be filled with "/lib/libsafe.so.2"

To do this though, I need a guide to how to build the official daily
hoary livecds :) I can modify it from there and write the initscript to
enable libsafe.
