Underscores And Nautilus

In file names, many people uses underscores rather than spaces to break
up words in filenames. Spaces are a PITA to deal with in programs and
scripts. In Nautilus, when filenames are broken up by spaces, the words
are shown on seperate lines. The words showing up on seperate lines
makes it very easy to read. Nautilus views words seperated by
underscores as just one word, making it very difficult to read. Compare
these:
Spaces:
My Work Summary
Report of June
2005.odt
Underscores:
My_Work_Summa
ry_Report_of_Jun
e_2005.odt
An optimal rendering of underscored filenames would be like so:
My_Work_
Summary_Report_
of_June_2005.odt
What do you think of this idea? Are there any drawbacks to this
potential patch?
God Bless,
Lukas
