Hi! Turns out I've just got myself an OpenPower 710 to test on, so I've been
looking into this as well. Great timing! :-)

Awesome - I downloaded another distro's CDs to find out what the differences
were, but haven't figured it out yet. Would you like to hook up on IRC or IM
to sort it out? (I'm jdub on #ubuntu-devel.)

I'm currently using a chroot of the LiveCD to get yummy Ubuntu goodness on
the machine. ;-)

We don't actually have a dedicated powerpc team at this point, but between
the main developer team and the Masters of the Universe [1], we'll be able
to get you up to speed pretty quickly.
