Up for acct standards ?

Hi, this might not be the right place but what im wondering about is
would the users of this great system would like to see a client
application to the acct() kernel systemcall. It logs proc enterys into a
a special file. But not one of the distrobutions i know of now brings a
program like this in the standard install, so my question to you guys is
would any of you like tho have such a need application in Ubuntu linux.
If so i can contribute my own code.
